Detectives are appealing for information following a report of burglary at residential premises in the Camlough Road area of Newry on Tuesday 11th April.
Detective Inspector Duffield said: “Sometime between 5:30pm and 6:30pm it was reported that entry was gained to a house in the area. It was reported that a number of rooms had been ransacked and enquiries are continuing to establish if anything was taken during the incident.
“We are particularly keen to speak with two men, believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident, who may be able to assist with our enquiries. The first man is described as of slim build, 5’6 tall in height and wearing a grey hoody with a black body warmer. The second man is described as around 5’7inheight, of slim build and wearing dark clothing. The males were seen getting into a silver Seat Leon before leaving the area.
“Our enquiries into this incident are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, or who saw males matching the description, to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1932 of 11/04/23.”
