Police investigating a report of theft from retail premises in the Crumlin Road area of north Belfast have charged a 30-year-old man to court.

He is charged with theft and common assault, and is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday, March 24.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
