A 31-year-old man has been charged with offences, including grievous bodily harm with intent, and is due to appear at Strabane Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Thursday 6th February. 

The man was arrested on Monday 3rd February, following a serious assault on a male at a property in Beechmount Village in Strabane, which was reported to have occurred early that morning.

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
