A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of a man in the Cupar Street area of west Belfast on Wednesday, 6th March has been released on bail this evening, Friday 8th March.
He has been released following questioning to allow for further police enquiries into the ongoing investigation.
Detective Inspector Sean Armstrong has also reiterated a further appeal for information into the circumstances of what happened.
Detective Inspector Armstrong said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I’m asking anyone with information to get in touch if you happened to witness the altercation and exactly what happened on Wednesday evening, shortly after 8pm.
“If you think you can help, contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1768 06/03/24.”
