Detectives have charged a 66-year-old man with murder.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (20th April).
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to an incident in the Victoria Avenue area of Whitehead on Saturday (16th April).
