Police in Newry have made a cash and drugs seizure following a proactive operation on Saturday 2nd April.

Sergeant Morrison said: “Officers from Tactical Support Group (TSG) stopped a vehicle in the Forkhill Road area of Cloghoge at around 6pm.

“Approximately nine thousand Euros in cash and suspected cannabis was seized.

“Enquiries are continuing. I would appeal to anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs, or anyone who has concerns, to get in touch with us on 101.”
