A 16 year old boy was arrested by detectives following a robbery at Hilden railway in Lisburn on the afternoon of Monday 22 August.

At approximately 2.30pm, a man was approached by three teenage males who threatened him with a large knife, before taking his bag.

The victim chased the males along Queensway to Richmond Court, where an altercation took place.

No one was injured and the males made off on foot with the bag.

A short time later, officers arrested the 16-year-old suspect on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He was interviewed and released on police bail pending further police enquiries.
