Police in Derry/Londonderry have made two arrests after a man was found injured in the city last night, Monday 22 January. 

Shortly before midnight, police received a report that a man was located injured in the area of John Street roundabout.

As part of enquiries, two men, both aged 27 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Both men remain in custody at this time. 

Police are investigating this as an assault, and appeal to anyone who was in the area of Craigavon Bridge and John Street between 11.20pm and 11.50pm and has information which could help their investigation to call 101, quoting reference 2626 of 23/01/24 or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
