Shooting – Glenkeen, West Belfast

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a shooting incident on the evening of Wednesday 1 June.

Officers received a report of a man aged in his 30’s with a gunshot wound to one leg in the Glenkeen area of Poleglass at around 10.20pm. The man is believed to have been shot in an alleyway in the area and is currently being treated in hospital for his injuries which are believed to be non-life threatening.

Inspector Brian Mills is appealing for information about the incident and would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to call detectives at Musgrave on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
