Appeal after report of ATM burglary in Enniskillen


Detectives investigating the report of a burglary of an ATM machine in Enniskillen sometime overnight are appealing for information and witnesses.

Detective Constable Watterson said:  “We received a report at around 11am this morning (Tuesday 2 August) that an external ATM on the Irvinestown Road area was cut open and a sum of cash taken.  

“Damage to street lighting in the area was also reported. 

“We believe this incident occurred sometime between midnight and 5am this morning, and that a number of persons were involved. 

 “If you saw any suspicious activity in the Irvinestown Road area between these times, please get in touch with detectives in Enniskillen on 101, quoting reference number 448 of 02/08/18.  

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
