Two men arrested following drugs search in Bangor

Police from the PSNI's District Support Team in Bangor have arrested two men following a planned search in the Clandeboye Road area of Bangor on Monday (1st July).

A 17 year old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a Class B controlled drug. He has been released to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service. 

A 24 year old man has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class B drug and appeared in court this morning. 

The arrests follow a search in the Bangor area on Monday (1st July) where suspected cocaine with a street value of approximately £2850, suspected cannabis with a street value of £2335 and  suspected MDMA with a street value of approximately £750 was seized.
