Hijacking incident - Lisburn

Detectives in Lisburn are investigating a hijacking incident in the Bensons Road area on the evening of Tuesday 5th April.

It was reported that shortly before 10pm, a black Peugeot 208 which was parked in a layby with two female occupants, was struck from behind by another vehicle. A number of males then exited the second vehicle and pulled the two females from the Peugeot and drove off in their car. The females suffered minor injuries and shock as a result of the incident.

Detective Sergeant James Johnston is appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information which could assist police with their enquiries to contact detectives in Lisburn on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
