Police appeal for witnesses following fatal Road Traffic Collision Moneynick Road, Randalstown

Police can confirm that a 58 year old woman has died following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Moneynick Road, Co Antrim, yesterday, Sunday 11th February.

The collision, involving a bus and a car, occurred at around 2:45pm this afternoon.  The 58 year old female driver of the car died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

The Moneynick Road remains closed at junctions with Gallagh Road and Gloverstown Road.

Inspector Colin Ash would appeal to anyone who was on the Moneynick Road between 2:40pm and 2:50pm and may have witnessed this incident to contact Police on the non-emergency number, quoting reference number 802 of 11/02/18.

We are keen to hear from witnesses of this incident

The Police Service of Northern Ireland is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that will assist the investigation to contact us on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
