Burglaries - Newtownabbey

Detectives are appealing for information following two burglaries that occurred in Newtownabbey on Saturday 12 March.

Sometime between 6.30pm and 9.10pm, a house in the Glenville Manor area was broken into and a sum of cash was stolen. A house in the Abbeyhill Way area was burgled sometime between noon and 10.50pm. A sum of cash and quantity of jewellery were taken in this incident.

Detective Inspector Chris Millar said: “At this time we are investigating a link between these two burglaries. I would ask anyone with any information about these incidents, or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the areas, to contact detectives at Antrim Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
