Detectives investigate fire at church Ballylenaghan Road - Castlereagh

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a Church on the Ballylenaghan Road area of Castlereagh overnight last night, Thursday 14 April.

It was reported that entry was forced to the premises sometime during the night and a number of fires started within the building. Damage has been caused to the interior of the building as a result of the fires.

A motive for the incident has yet to be established.

Detective Inspector Cummings is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Lisburn on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
