Arrests made in Brian McIlhagga murder investigation

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of Brian McIlhagga in January 2015 and a paramilitary style shooting in Ballymoney in March 2015 have arrested two males, aged 45 and 41.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey said: “Both males were arrested in the North Antrim area today and were taken to the Serious Crime Suite where they are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

“Detectives also carried out two searches and a number of items were seized.”
