Shot fired at house Stewart Avenue Cookstown

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a shooting incident in the Stewart Avenue area of Cookstown last night, Wednesday 09 March.

At around 11.15pm it was reported that a shot had been fired through the window of a house. A man, aged in his 50’s, who was in the house at the time was not injured but left shaken by his ordeal.

Detective Inspector Will Tate is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Cookstown on 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
