Police vehicle damaged in attack

Police carried out searches of the Glen Road area of west Belfast on Sunday afternoon, 24 April, following an overnight attack on a police vehicle.

The windscreen of a PSNI landrover was damaged when it was struck by an object at around 1am.

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: “Nothing was found during the searches of the area however police enquiries into exactly what kind of object hit the landrover this morning will continue.

We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who may be able to assist the police investigation in anyway. The number to call is 101.”
