Burglaries - Saintfield Road and Beechill Park West, Castlereagh

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of two burglaries that occurred on Wednesday, 13 April.

The first incident occurred in the Saintfield Road area of Castlereagh sometime between 7.30am and 4.00pm. An upstairs bedroom was entered, however it is not believed that anything was stolen.

The second incident occurred sometime between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the Beechill Park West area of Belfast. The house was entered and a sum of money stolen.

Detective Sergeant James Johnston said “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in and around these areas to contact Detectives at Lisburn Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
