Assault, Hesketh Park, Belfast

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an assault at Hesketh Park, Belfast, yesterday evening, Friday, 26 August.

At approximately 6.40pm Police received a report that a man had been assaulted by a male brandishing what is believed to be a stanley knife, in the front garden of a house.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1149 26/08/16.
