Suspected arson attack, Ardmore Park, south Belfast

Police in south Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on three parked cars outside a house in Ardmore Park on Saturday 28th April.

A report was received by police at around 3.40am that the cars, a Skoda Octavia, a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW, had been set alight and severely damaged as a result.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and Inspector Wendy Pollock has asked anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information which could assist the police investigation to contact officers at Lisburn Road on 101 quoting reference number 217 28/04/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
