Man arrested on suspicion of brothel keeping: Cromwell Road, Belfast

Detectives have arrested a 38 year old man on suspicion of a number of offences linked to brothel keeping and prostitution.

Detective Inspector Nigel Snoddy said: “The arrest follows the discovery of a suspected brothel at an address on Cromwell Road in south Belfast this morning, Saturday 28 May.

Three women who were at the property are now receiving appropriate assistance and support and will be spoken with in due course.

The man will be questioned in relation to inciting prostitution for gain and keeping a brothel used for prostitution.

He remains in custody at present.”
