Three people who died in fatal Portglenone RTC named

The three people who sadly lost their lives in a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Portglenone yesterday (Monday, 27th July) have been named as husband and wife, Paul and Varena Creelman and Phil Hegarty, who was Varena's brother.   

A silver Volkswagen Passat and a black Audi were involved in the collision on Lisnahunshin Road, which was reported at around 10:40am. 

The two men and woman who died, and who were from the Kilrea area, were all travelling in the Passat. 

Inspector David Anderson continues to appeal for information today and urges anyone who witnessed this collision, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 591 27/07/20.

All roads that were closed have now re-opened.
