Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Trillick in the early hours of Friday 15th March.

Detective Sergeant Curley said: “At approximately 12.30am police received a report of a burglary at a house in the Fingerpost Road in Kilskeery.

“Two men are believed to have gained access to the property after breaking through a door. 

“They ransacked the kitchen before making off on foot with a sum of money.

“The homeowner who was in bed at the time of the burglary was uninjured however has been left badly shaken by their ordeal.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 30 of 15/03/24."
