Police in south Belfast have arrested a man following a report of criminal damage at a train station on Botanic Avenue. 

It was reported that sometime between 11.40pm on Thursday 14th December 2023 and 8.30am on Monday 17th December 2023, graffiti had been sprayed on a number of items, including shelters, benches and electronic screens. 

An investigation was launched, which led to the arrest of a 23-year-old man this morning, Friday 15th March. He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and remains in police custody at this time.
