I am writing a research paper with an academic colleague on the legacies of the Good Friday Agreement. Specifically, we are interested in demand for police. We were hoping to get information that would further our study. We are interested in 999 and 101 call handling in Northern Ireland from 1998 to 2021. We plan to analyse their occurrence at the SOA-level per month and combining them with other publicly available data. We are confident that this research can shed light on police legitimacy and have important policy implications.

We would like to receive information also on the response—specifically the C&C incident type, as shown in this document.
We understand that acquiring this information at the address level is challenging for privacy reasons but if aggregated to the SOA or postcode level, then it will not be possible to identify individual callers.
