Your Local Policing Area

Local policing in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon District is delivered by Local Policing Response Teams (LPRTs) and Local Neighbourhood Policing Teams (LNPTs).

Communities living in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon District have two LPRTs based in Armagh and Lurgan Stations, providing 24 hour cover to keep people safe.

Local Neighbourhood Policing

There are four LNPTs who cover every district electoral ward in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon District. 

LNPTs are based in based in Armagh, Banbridge and Lurgan Police Stations and work in partnership with communities as well as statutory and voluntary bodies to address local issues and concerns and find long lasting solutions.

The teams are committed to improving your quality of life and building safer communities with you. Your neighbourhood officers work in partnership with other agencies in health, education and local government to deliver collaborative solutions.

Contact details for your Local Neighbourhood Policing Teams (LNPTs) are listed below. When a LNPT officer is unavailable to take your call you will be able to leave a message so that you can be contacted on their return to duty.

If your call relates to a non-emergency, please call 101 to report the matter.

Foreword from District Commander

Police officers and staff are working hard every day in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon District to provide a safe environment and a safe community for everyone who works, lives and visits the area.

There are five police stations across the district. Three of those stations, Armagh, Banbridge and Lurgan, are accessible to the public during specific times. We provide policing 24 hours a day, seven days a week with predominantly two Local Policing Response Teams (LPRTs) and four Local Neighbourhood Policing Teams (LNPTs) working together and responding to your calls for help.

Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of our service and we work closely with different organisations, groups and people to find comprehensive and long lasting solutions to the concerns you raise.
