Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force conducted a search operation in Donaghadee on Wednesday 24th April.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation into criminality linked to West Belfast UDA.

Detective Inspector Corrigan said: “A property was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act. As a result mobile phones, cash, and quantities of suspected class B and class C controlled drugs were seized. These items have been taken away for further forensic examinations.

“The Paramilitary Crime Task Force will continue to seize and remove dangerous and harmful drugs from the streets, whilst also disrupting finance streams linked to the sale of these drugs.

"I would ask anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs to contact police on 101 and assist us in our efforts to make this country a safer place for all.
