Officers from Paramilitary Crime Task Force, working alongside HMRC officers conducted two searches in the Newtownards area on Tuesday, October 10th.

The searches were part of an ongoing investigation into criminality linked to North Down UDA.

Detective Inspector Corrigan said: “During the searches at two properties in the Queens Square area, a quantity of tobacco, cash and laptops were seized.

“This collaboration with our partner agencies demonstrates our ongoing commitment to targeting and disrupting the activities of these groups.
