Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a burglary in Newtownabbey.
Detective Sergeant Marks said: “Police received a report that at approximately 11.45pm on Thursday, 21st March two men, believed to be aged in their 20s, and a girl aged in her late teens, had gained entry to a house in the Devenish Drive area.
“The two men demanded money off the occupier of the house, a man aged in his 60s. The suspects then made off from the scene with a sum of cash, bank cards and a laptop.
“Thankfully, no one was injured, however this was a frightening experience for the victim, who was left shaken by what happened.
“We are currently investigating a number of lines of enquiry to try and identify the suspects and a motive.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone or anything suspicious in the area or has CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that could assist our investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 14 22/3/24.”
