Three New Year Honours have come to policing in Northern Ireland.
Three Queen’s Police Medals (QPM) have been awarded. They go to Detective Chief Inspector Norman Lewis and Detective Constable Robert McAllen. One other officer has requested no publicity.
Detective Chief Inspector Norman Lewis has been a police officer for over 33 years.
Serving predominantly in a detective role, he has been working in Crime Operations Department for over 25 years and has worked on a number of high profile investigations.
Detective Constable Robert McAllen has 29 years service.
During his time, he has served in both uniform and detective roles. He currently holds a position in the Economic Crime Unit within Crime Operations Department.
The Northern Ireland Honours list will be available on the NI Direct website at 10:30pm tonight.
