To register for a My PSNI Portal account you will need to provide a valid mobile number and email address.
By registering for a My PSNI Portal account you can access:
• Victim Updates
• Firearms licensing
Victim Updates
Victim Updates is available for those aged 16 years and older and involved in the following crime types.
• Assault
• Blackmail
• Burglary
• Criminal damage
• Harassment
• Malicious communications
• Public order
• Robbery
• Theft
• Threats to life
• Wildlife crime
Victim updates allows a user to:
• View current status of reported incident
• Request update from your investigating officer
Using this system to request an update sends a message directly to your investigating officer. This is often quicker and easier than calling 101.
To help ensure every victim receives fair and timely response, you can make two update requests without a reply per day from your investigating officer.
Firearms Licensing
Firearms licensing is for anyone over the age of 16. Private citizens, firearms dealers and referees.
Firearms licensing allows users to apply for the following:
• Initial Grant of a Firearm Certificate
• Variation of a Firearm Certificate,
• Regrant with Variation of a Firearm Certificate,
• Regrant of a Firearm Certificate,
• European Firearms Pass,
• Change of Address,
• Cancellation of a Firearm Certificate.
