How to use the Quick Exit button
Certain webpages have a 'Quick Exit' button at the right hand side of them. By clicking this button you close the webpage immediately and this will be replaced by the Google homepage.
How to view and delete your browsing history
The page will close but it will still appear in your internet browsing history. If you need to remove this information from there guidance is supplied below.
You can improve your safety by deleting your internet browsing history. But you need to be careful because deleting cookies will remove stored passwords for online accounts and clearing your history could make someone more suspicious.
