Please provide the total number of offences recorded as having an article with a blade or point in a public place (008/26; Criminal Justice Act 1988, s.139) between 1 January 2023 and 31 January 2024.
Answer
PSNI can confirm that between 1st January 2023 and 31st January 2024 there were 435 recorded offences of ‘Possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place’ in Northern Ireland.
