PSNI have carried out a review of Accident/Incident Reports (Form 23-10) submitted by officers, please see the results below.

For 2022-2023:
1066 Police Officers were assaulted. However, as some officers were assaulted more than once in this time frame, a total of 1666 reports of assault were submitted via Form e23-10.

For 2023-2024:
968 Police Officers were assaulted. However, as some officers were assaulted more than once in this time frame, a total of 1505 reports of assault were submitted via Form e23-10.

For 2024-2025:
822 Police Officers were assaulted. However, as some officers were assaulted more than once in this time frame, a total 1263 reports of assault were submitted via Form e23-10.

Please note that these figures may not be a true reflection of all assaults on PSNI officers that took place, only those that were then followed up with an e23-10 submission.
