Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold some information to which your request relates and this is being provided to you. However we do not hold information in relation to request number 2

A summary of the number of betting shops within your jurisdiction and the corresponding number of police callouts/incidents associated with these establishments between 21st January 2024 and 21st January 2025.
Answer 1
Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) don’t hold the number of betting shops or gaming centres.
Under Section 16 we would suggest that you refer any request regarding these establishments to the local council and/ or the NI Court service as they would be responsible for giving permissions and licences and may hold the details of the numbers.
PSNI can advise that there were a total of 61 incidents identified within the timeframe 21st January 2024 and 21st January 2025.

The same data (number of premises and police callouts/incidents) for adult gaming centres over the same time period.

We can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) does not hold information in relation to request number 2.
