Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

What the charge is for a motorist who has their vehicle recovered from the roadside by a recovery firm called by the PSNI?

Answer

When a vehicle is recovered from the roadside by a recovery firm at the request of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), the charges incurred by the motorist are determined by a range of factors. These include, but are not limited to, the size and weight of the vehicle.
