Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold some information to which your request relates and this is being provided to you.
We consider some of the information you seek in request your request exempt by virtue of Section 22 of FOIA and have detailed our rationale as to why this exemption applies. We have also provided you with links to guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office which we have followed in responding to your request.
Request
Can you provide us with information on the number of collisions resulting in injury that have taken place along the A26 (Lisnevenagh Road, Ballymena Road) North and South Bound from Dunsilly Roundabout to Ballee roundabout from January 1 2023 - December 31 2023 and January 1 2024 - 1 December 2024.
The location of said injury collisions if applicable on a map to identify if they were on the dual carriage way, had occurred on a side road upon joining the dual carriage way, or caused on the central reserve when trying to cross/join the dual carriageway.

The extracts cover the periods 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2024 and 1st January 2024 to 30th September 2024, latest available data. Data between 1st April and 30th September 2024 is provisional and subject to change.
