Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.
Request
I would like to know how many Community Resolution notices the PSNI have issued for possession of (i) Class A (ii) Class B (iii) Class C drugs in each of the last ten years. Please provide the information in separate tables in terms of drug classification.
Answer
PSNI can advise that Community Resolution Notices commenced in 2016, the table below provides data from 01/04/2016 onwards. 2025 - 2026 data is provided up to 31/07/2025.
