I would like to request the following in relation to programmes/initiatives either funded fully or partly by the PSNI where young people receive a salary/wage/allowance as part of such:
1. In each constituency over the last five years broken down by the lead organisation or organisation that processes payments, the total paid to it and the number of young people 
This does not refer to payments to informers/security sources.

Clarification sought:
1. Can you advise as to what type of programmes/ initiatives you seek information on? Would this include Apprenticeship scheme which the PSNI was involved in?
2. Do you know the name of the program, organisation name or at least location? This would be very helpful in locating requested data.

Clarification received:
1. I am aware of a programme where young people are paid by a community group to engage in community maintenance and the funds come from the PSNI, these types of programmes.
2. Not sure of the name but I would ask for the details of similar schemes across the region.

Answer
Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) does not hold information in relation to your requests. Enquiries made in relation to your request failed to locate any records or documents relevant to your request based on the information you have provided. 

Please note this response is in conjunction with the following caveat:
We have contacted numerous business areas within PSNI and none of them have paid salaries/wages/allowances to any young people as part of Branch funding arrangements.

Accordingly, we have determined that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does not hold the information to which you seek access.
