Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

In the last 12 months how many policing hours have Interceptors from Sprucefield back filled Road Policing Motorway.

In the last 12 months how many policing hours have Traffic from Maydown back filled Road Policing Motorway.

In the last 12 months how many policing hours have Traffic in Omagh/Enniskillen back filled Road Policing Motorway.

1. Does your request cover plain time for extraction?
2. Does your request cover over time for backfill?

Clarification Received
It is more the total hours that all separate bases have had to backfill traffic and then compare numbers.
Most will be plain time but due to the need to add hours onto our shift so align with traffics 12hr pattern there will often be a small amount of OT incurred.  It is more the hours extracted away from our own job if that makes sense.
