Request 1
Since the start of this year, how many calls for service has the police received in Mid & East Antrim district that were deemed as needing an emergency response?
Answer 1
From 01/01/25 – 31/05/25 inclusive there was a total of 574 emergency graded incidents within the Ballymena / Larne control groups (Mid & East Antrim dispatch area).
Request 2
What percentage of this number above were responded to correctly within the 15 minute target for emergency calls?
Answer 2
| >15 minutes | <=15 minutes | Total | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Count | 81 | 466 | 547 |
| % discarding nulls | 14.81 | 85.19 | 100 |
Some emergency graded incidents had an arrival time of ‘NULL’. These were emergency graded incidents which never had a resource deployed because they should not have been emergency graded incidents in the first instance as no police deployment was required or it was deemed, shortly after grading, that an emergency deployment was not required but the grade was never altered to reflect it. These figures have been disregarded from the table as they do not give an accurate representation of legitimate emergency graded incident response times.
