Answer
The figures below include Police Officers injured during training courses such as Public Order, PSP (Personal Safety Programme), MUTT (Multi Unit Tactical Training), MOE (Method of Entry), CPU (Close Protection Unit), ARV (Armed Response Unit) etc. during the three financial years requested.

2022/2023 – 57 Police Officers

Reports were run for the following three categories – Training – Other, Training - Public Order and Other with each description being reviewed to determine if it fell within this request.

It is important to note that the figures provided within the response are only those in which a form e23/10 was submitted by a Police Officer and where they selected ‘Injury’ and may not provide a true reflection of all safety training incidents during the financial years requested.
