Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

Please tell me how many crimes were committed on pharmacy or chemist premises in each of the following years:
a) 2024/2025
b) 2023/2024
c) 2022/2023

Please break the data in question 1. down for the different classifications of crime as stated by the Home Office for each of the following three years:

Answer
The following table is based on all recorded crimes where the location subtype was described as Pharmacy, during the period April 2022 - March 2025. The location subtype indicates that the offence took place at or within the vicinity of the premises type. Therefore some offences may not have taken place in a pharmacy.

Of the recorded crimes where the location subtype was described as ‘Pharmacy’, one had a race hate motivation in 2022/23 and 2 had a race hate motivation in 2024/25.
Please note that these offences have not been reviewed to confirm that the hate motivation was linked to the location subtype.
