Request
Why a number of police vehicles are parked at the Mater Hospital, almost every day and night, if resources are under pressure why duda waste of police time. Also what impact is this having on normal crime and roads policing?
Clarification
1. If you would like information on specific occurrences where police were in attendance at the Mater Hospital, please provide dates and times for when police vehicles have been parked at the Mater hospital?
2. Your request states 'If resources are under pressure, why Duda waste of Police time.’ Could you confirm what you mean by 'Duda'?
Clarification Received
I have no specific date or time in mind. What I can say is almost any time I drive past, a number of vehicles are there. On the other question, at the end that was a typo error. It should have read, when resources are under pressure, this is surely a waste of time and money. Also, is normal crime and road policing being neglected as a result of staff sitting around in the Mater Hospital?
Answer
PSNI vehicles attending the Mater Hospital do so for a policing purpose, as they would attend any public or private location as required
