Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

Can you tell me how much the Power To Change campaign has cost, and is projected to cost the PSNI?
Answer
The Department of Justice and The Executive Office have jointly funded this campaign, broken down as follows:
Department of Justice have contributed £73,000 towards the campaign and The Executive Office have contributed £25,000 towards the campaign.
The PSNI have contributed an additional £5,000 to the roll out of the advertising. However, no future projected costs for the PSNI have been confirmed.

As well as the financial cost, are you able to give me an estimate for how much officer’s time has been spent on the campaign too?
Answer
The Power To Change campaign was developed and led on by the PSNI’s Strategic Communications and Engagement Department in collaboration with The Executive Office and Department of Justice with limited operational resources required.
As the campaign is rolled out to local communities, local district officers have been provided with an operational toolkit of the campaign to enable them to incorporate it into their planned community engagements.
