Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

Under regulation 24 of The Police Regulations 2003, officers who have previously resigned from a UK police force may join another police force and will re-enter at the pay scale commensurate to length of service previously completed in that rank.
Taking cognisance of the above with the payroll department / HR potentially being best placed to provide the information relation this request, please advise of the following:
Since January 2022, how many re-joiners to the PSNI are currently in receipt of their equivalent pay point at Constable rank?
