Question 1
For the Chief Inspector promotion competition in 2024, please could you advise how many candidates underwent the assessment, and how many were successful? Of the successful candidates, what was the breakdown between male and female?

For the Chief Superintendent Promotion competition in 2025, please could you tell me how many candidates underwent the assessment, and how many were successful? Of the successful candidates, what was the breakdown between male and female?

Please could you provide me with a table showing the number of substantive and temporary senior officer promotions for Chief Inspector, Superintendent and Chief Superintendent in the PSNI, broken down by rank, by year from 2019 to present, and by sex (males & females). It would be useful if you could provide the information in the following format:

Due to the way the information is recorded, to provide data for temporary promotions, we need to establish a date for each year on which the information is based. Would you be content with receiving data for 31st March of each year, for temporary promotions?
