Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

I would like the figures of sexual offenders currently on the Sex Offenders Register in January 2026 , for offenders currently incarcerated & also living in the community for the following areas.
a) West Belfast
b) North Belfast
c) South Belfast
d) East Belfast

b) North Belfast - 208
c) South Belfast - 181
d) East Belfast - 149
Please note the above figures include registered / managed sexual offenders living in the community and incarcerated.
