Request and Answer:
Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following
Request 1
Since January 1 2024, please disclose the logs for every incident involving unidentified flying object/unidentified aerial phenomena recorded by your force.
Request 2
Also please disclose the logs that feature at least one of these search terms: UFO, Alien, UAP and spaceship
For each incident log, please disclose:
a. The date and time the incident was reported.
b. The general location it was recorded (I.E. the city/town/village)
c. The incident log, exactly as it was recorded by the force, redacting any identifiable information which may otherwise prohibit disclosure. For example Female caller named (REDACTED)
reports seeing eight flashing lights hovering above his property in (REDACTED) street before a female was beamed into the sky.

| 11/12/24 | 17.10 | Bangor | Caller reports she saw what she thinks was a UFO from her bedroom window in April (at approx. 2300 hrs). She has it recorded on her phone. It appeared initially like a very bright star, it then went dark and reappeared as red and green before flying across the sky like a plane. She said something that suggested she had seen one before. When asked she said she and friends had seen one when in Cloghy years ago. |
| 19/12/24 | 18.18 | Belfast | Caller reporting what she believes is a UFO in the sky. Caller does not believe it's an aircraft, drone or star. She says it's circular and moving like an orb and she has recorded this. Caller would like to report this in case other people see it. |
